MGT Stone has hundreds of granite slabs in stock to choose from, and we consistently get new, unique stones into our Barrington-based warehouse. We are also able to get more granite colors from our network of local slab distributors. Remnants, which are leftover pieces after slabs have been cut, are a great option for smaller projects. We quote each project individually to ensure the most competitive pricing. Whether you are looking for a dramatic piece with a lot of veining or a more subtle countertop, Marble and Granite Tech has the selection to guarantee the right fit for your room.
We measure all granite slabs digitally on-site with state-of-the-art cutting and polishing equipment. We combine and superimpose the digital image of your slab, the laser optic measure of the room in your home or office and the CAD drawing of your layout to provide the most precise slab cutting and the most sophisticated vein matching. This allows for a level of precision not possible with hand measures or cardboard templates. This incredible technology also allows us to waste as little material as possible, conserving resources and saving you money.
Although the edge style of your granite countertop may seem like a small detail, at MGT we understand that the right countertop edge can pull a room together. An edge can highlight the shape of cabinetry in your kitchen or provide a cottage-chic feel to your space. From a sleek, modern beveled countertop to a premium fancy ogee edge, we offer a full range of edge options to bring your space together.
Vein matching is one of the most important reasons to work with Marble & Granite Tech. We pride ourselves on our patented vein-matching technology, which allows us to match the veins in two different slabs to give your countertop a consistent look. Each top is digitally placed on a picture of the actual slab prior to cutting so that all veins can match exactly for the desired effect. An email of this plan is sent to you before we start cutting so that you can be sure the areas of the stone you love most are well placed. The result is a gorgeous granite countertop that will fit the aesthetic of your home or office. Our vein matching technology also reduces material waste because our waterjets can cut precisely and need very little margin.
Our professional installation crews take time on each job to make sure that each countertop is installed exactly the way you'd like. Our crews are clean and make the construction process as smooth as possible, leaving you with a gorgeous new kitchen or bathroom countertop. MGT seams are well under industry standards.
In addition to our countertops, we also have experience creating granite vanity tops for bathrooms, kitchen islands, sink and shower surrounds, bar tops and many other projects. We will work with you to create a custom granite project to make your home or business beautiful.
